White Sand Beach - North Taiwan
Once we got past DamShui it was easy enough to find. A nice beach that has developed a lot since our first visit 3 years ago. The lifeguards are a bit anal about EVERYONE leaving not only the water but also the beach at 5pm when they have to leave. Funny thing is (in true Taiwanese style) 20 min later, when they had gone home, everyone came back on to the beach and was having fun!?! I dunno, I studied logic at Uni and even after living in Taiwan for 3 Years + I still just don't get it!!

It was a long time ago that we visited the beach, there are showers and nice little coffee shops, places to buy the normal beach stuff and you can even rent surfboards to try out on the small waves.
I can't remember if there are volleyball courts but I'm sure someone has put them up by now!
